My Story
I was introduced to Scentsy Family in December 2007. I bought a warmer and some bars for myself as well as Christmas gift for my mom. I was hooked instantly, and I couldn't stop looking through the catalog. I wanted to know more! Due to a bad experience with trying to sell for another Direct Sales company, I researched and kept my thoughts about joining the company to myself, I just didn't know if it was for me. In March of 2008 my mom called asking about that gift I had gotten her, she wanted to use it as a Birthday gift and didn't know where to get one. That night, I talked to my husband about the company and he immediately looked at the catalog, got online and said, "Go for it!" In July 2009, Scentsy's Annual convention was held just a few hours from our home in SLC Utah, so we thought, why not, let's go! I immediately felt the Scentsy spirit and knew I'd made the right choice. In Sept 2009, my husband and I moved from UT to ND, almost 1000 miles from home, family, friends and everything I'd ever known. I used my Scentsy business to push myself to get out, be involved and meet new people in our new community! I joined clubs, the Chamber of Commerce and everywhere I went I passed on my information and shared this amazing product. Within a month of moving I had parties booked and I was doubling and even tripling my previous sales and business. In July 2010, we went to our 2nd Scentsy Convention, held in Denver, CO. Quite a bit further from our home in ND, but still so worth it! I had a team of 23 and had 3 of them attend this Convention with me. It was there that I made the announcement of my goal to be a Scentsy Director. Imagine my surprise when just a short month later, I reached that goal! In May 2011, I went to Boise ID to spend 3 days with Scentsy's Corporate staff, owners, and other Directors like myself. We received valuable & motivational trainings to help us be great leaders and inspire those around us. About a month later, I went on my first all expense paid trip that I had earned with Scentsy. I was flown to Disney World in Orlando FL. All expenses were paid and we were treated like royalty! About a month after that I attended my 3rd Scentsy Convention in TX. More team members were present and Scentsy spirit was stronger than ever! In June 2012 I took my husband with me to Dominican Republic, another all expense paid trip but this time for 2. A week away, all expenses paid, all for doing something so fun that everyone around me called work! In April 2013, another all expense paid trip for two to the beautiful and historic city of Charleston SC. Another huge memory maker as we again enjoyed the treatment and Scentsy Spirit that surrounded us. All in all my Scentsy business has taken me to, SLC UT, Las Vegas NV, Denver CO, Minneapolis MN, Boise ID, Orlando FL, Ft Worth TX, Punta Cana Dominican Republic, Charleston SC, Cancun Mexico, Bozeman MT, Chicago IL, Indianapolis IN and my list just keeps growing! I could go on and on about all the things I love about this business, but I'll try to keep it short here, I'm proud to say, I'm Scentsy and I know it! You see I bleed Purple and green!
